What interested me most was linguistics. The topics covered in class range from translation of novels to the difficulty of Japanese language that exchange students have. I gained a new perspective through an exchange of views with students with different backgrounds. Also, I was able to use the knowledge in Japanese language volunteer activities and part-time English instruction, which led to an improvement in the quality of teaching. In SILS, you can explore what is interesting and make the most of the knowledge, which is the great advantage of liberal arts education.Introduction to Psycholinguistics English Phonetics and PhonologyInterpreting Industry of JapanWord Structure and Vocabulary : English and Japanese in ContrastSelected Topics in SociolinguisticsFundamentals of Generative SyntaxI want to addresssocial issuesI want to learnabout linguisticsIntroduction toTheatre and DramaAmerican Literary Studies Translation Studies: PracticesHistory of English LiteratureTranslation as Creative Writing Modern Japanese Fiction in TranslationI want to take courses based on my interest in a regionI want to decide my field of research after entering SILSIntroduction toSocial AnthropologyCultural Diversity in JapanCulture and LawSocial Design & Design Thinking for Urban ChangeBiological PsychologyChinese Diaspora and GlobalizationCommunicationExpressionCulture,Mind and Body, and CommunityFrom StudentThe joy of using accumulated knowledgeWAKUGAWA, EriAdmitted in April 2021Graduate of Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya High SchoolExamples of Learning
