Data Science is referred to as a novel paradigm in the evolution of science. Just as Newtonian mechanics revolutionized modern scientific civilization, Data Science is deemed a pivotal element shaping contemporary society. Starting in 2025, SILS will mandate the course “Introductory Data Science,” equipping students with the foundational knowledge in this crucial field.Classes of Introductory StatisticsProfessorWANG, JinfangSmall class sizes allow for active two-way dialogue and question-and-answer sessions between students and faculty members.At SILS, statistics is emphasized as the basis for many academic fields, and students are required to complete credits in Introductory Statistics before graduation.
