I chose the DMBA program for a better career in Japan and this journey has enriched me from various perspectives. The learning experience is not only from the professors but also from the fellows since they come from different back-grounds. They deepen the discussion topics and bring real examples with in-dustry insights and I was always inspired by them through the group works. At the same time, I become a more open-mind-ed person as a member of a diverse group. Interacting with classmates from different cultures helped break down my barrier of traditional values and there are so many outside class activities that I could build lifetime friendships with I joined DMBA program because I want to know my true self and my inner mo-tivation. Discovering who I am is im-portant to me because it decides who I will be tomorrow. Thanks to the MBA professors, career coach and career ser-vices support, I know better about my aspiration. Moreover, one of the biggest benefits of the DMBA program is that I was able to gain those experi-ences at both universities while enjoying the difference at the same time. Courses at NTU help me to develop comprehen-sive knowledge and Waseda’s classes give me a deep dive into the Japanese business environment. The MBA journey brought me opportunities and challenges which transferred me into a stronger per-son. I think it is one of the best decisions I have made and want to encourage those who want to challenge themselves to embark on the journey.I chose the Waseda-Nanyang Double MBA because this program would help me to obtain knowledge that I would need in the future − a deep understand-ing of business strategy, digital strategy, and Asian culture. Through this program, I have met classmates from 15 countries and encountered various perspectives that I was never exposed to in my pre-vious work. Outside of the classroom, while in Singapore, I visited various lo-cations and read a book written by Lee Kuan Yew, the First Prime Minister in Sin-gapore, to gain a greater understanding of the history and culture of Singapore.curiosity, I achieved a complete career switch with the help from DMBA and my classmates. Although the Waseda cours-es were conducted online, I learned to cope with uncertainties and make use of online resources.
