Guid-ance from my professor, however, led me to have a bird’s-eye view of the maturity level of a technology and a smart community co-created with many different individ-uals, which are important when applying such a technolo-gy to society. In particular, many such students are currently studying in the doctoral course.近年の在学生の状況Breakdown of the Students and Their Career PathsインタビューInterview1加藤 浩瑞Kato, Hiromitsu国立研究開発法人 新エネルギー・産業技術総合開発機構勤務（2023年３月修士課程修了）New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization（Completed Masterʼs Course in March 2023）分野横断的な視点と現場に基づいた研究ができる環境 修士課程では、配送やごみ収集に活用できるモビリティの開発と、地域への社会実装アプローチに関する研究を行いました。 出身が早稲田大学総合機械工学科のため、研究室に入りたての頃は「技術」ばかりに着目しがちでした。しかし、教授に御指導頂き、社会実装を踏まえたときに大切な、技術の成熟度やさまざまな関係者と共創するスマートコミュニティといった俯瞰的な視点も学びました。これらの観点から研究を見直すことで、開発・実証のプロジェクトマネジメントを行い、実現性の高い社会実装アプローチの提案ができました。 分野横断的にプロジェクトに関わったこと、開発・実証・成果報告まで、現場にて一貫して携わったという貴重な経験は、今後の人生に役立つと確信しています。Contribution to Building of a Win-Win Relation-ship between Companies and the Environment Using the Hypothesis Testing MethodWhen I was a third-year undergraduate student, down-pours frequently occurred in my hometown in Anhui province in China. Experiencing the seriousness of climate change in an environment so close to me made me enthusiastic about creating a sustainable society and supporting areas affected by climate change. I took many courses on SDGs once I entered WEEE. I was impressed by companies that take ownership of solving environmen-tal issues and fulfill their social responsibilities and noted that sustainability was an urgent and important task to them.In the area of corporate environmental and social strate-gies, I use the hypothesis-testing process, which we all became quite familiar with in lectures and events in WEEE, to find out through research the logical mecha-nism of realizing a win-win relationship between compa-nies and the environment. In the future, I, as a consul-tant, will continue to improve myself by fully utilizing the hypothesis-testing-oriented way of thinking that I devel-oped through my days at WEEE.After completing the Master's course, graduates find places to thrive in various fields. An especially high percentage of graduates find employment in automotive firms, machinery and electrical firms, and energy firms.近年の修士課程修了生の進路状況Career Paths of Recent Master's Degree GraduatesContribution to Realization of Carbon Neutrality and Evolution of the Joy of DrivingI entered WEEE with the hope of taking part in the enhancement of environmentally conscious technologies for automobiles and studied how to estimate the state of lithium-ion cells for electric vehicles. It was a challenging theme with almost no similar research, but receiving passionate guidance from instructors with expertise, I learned how to examine the knowledge and data required for research from various perspectives and in the end was able to present my research outcome in a journal and at an academic conference.I am currently working on complicated analysis of an electric vehicle system through simulations at Mazda Motor Corporation. My expertise in automobiles and batteries as well as the analysis skills that I developed at university have become the foundation of my current career. I am also in the WEEE doctoral course to contrib-ute to further evolution of electric vehicles. I am now studying optimization of AI-based battery management control.インタビューInterview2闫 煊雨YAN, Xuanyu国内コンサルティングファーム勤務（修士課程２年） A Consulting Firm in Japan（Second Year, Masterʼs Course）仮説検証の手法で、企業と環境のWin-Winの関係構築に貢献 大学3年生の時、中国の安徽省の実家で、豪雨が頻発しました。身近な気候変動の深刻さを感じたことをきっかけに、持続可能な社会の構築や気候災害に害された地域の支援に情熱を持ちました。本研究科に進学し、SDGsについての授業を数多く履修しました。企業が環境問題の解決にオーナーシップを持ち、社会的責任を履行していることに感心し、企業のサステナビリティの緊迫性と重要性を感じました。 私は、企業の環境・社会戦略について、研究科での授業やイベントにおいて馴染みになった仮説検証のプロセスで、企業と環境がWin-Winの関係を実現できる理論的な枠組みを解明できるように研究を行っています。将来はコンサルタントとして、本研究科で養った仮説検証の考え方を生かして、引き続き精進してまいります。インタビューInterview3波頭 佑哉Hato, Yuyaマツダ株式会社勤務（2023年４月博士後期課程１年） Mazda Motor Corporation（Starting the First-Year Doctoral Course in April 2023）カーボンニュートラルの実現と走る歓びの進化への貢献 私は自動車の環境対策技術の向上に携わりたいと言う思いから本研究科に入学し、電動車両用のリチウムイオン電池の状態推定に関する研究を行いました。類似研究の少ない難しいテーマでしたが、専門性の高い先生方の熱心なご指導により研究に必要な知識やデータを多角的に考察する方法を学び、研究成果をジャーナルや学会で発表することができました。 現在はマツダ株式会社にて、シミュレーションを活用した複雑な電動車両システムの解析業務に従事しており、当時の研究で得た自動車や電池の専門知識や分析スキルが今の礎となっております。また、電動車両の更なる進化に貢献するために本研究科の博士後期課程にも在籍し、AIを駆使したバッテリマネジメント制御の最適化に関する研究を行っております。10 修士課程修了生は、さまざまな分野にそれぞれの活躍の場を定めている。とくに、自動車関連企業、機械・電気関連企業、エネルギー関連企業に就職する者の割合が高い。在学生の状況とその進路Students and Student Career Paths
