12This is the world’s first program offering an integrated curriculum centered on Asian regional law. Students systematically study the legal issues that countries, companies and people dealing with inter-Asian economic interdependence, the movement of workers and tourists, climate change, international crime prevention cooperation and a host of other challenges in the broader Asian region are faced with. The EU and other regions are used as a comparison to highlight those characteristics which are distinctive to the legal issues of the broader Asian region. This is the first law course of its kind anywhere in the world to systematically examine such topics from the standpoint of the broader Asian region. There is no doubt that the ability to provide legal insight from this standpoint will become increasingly essential in the years to come. Students will thus be cultivating legal skills which will put them ahead of the curve. That is the chief advantage that this course offers. This course is aimed at legal professionals and those working in the corporate or public sector, as well as international students and Japanese who are university graduates (or Japanese who are graduating and are in their final year of study) intent on finding employment in multinational corporations, the public sector, international organizations and the like. Those who complete this program can expect to have their enhanced legal skill set put to the test from a multitude of perspectives in a diverse array of settings grappling with such transnational challenges as corporate law, business strategy design, public sector legislation and international NGO activities.Asian Economic Integration and LawLL.M. in 修士課程先端法学専攻
