During the seminars by individual Advisors, research guidance will focus on specialized knowledge in specific fields of specialization (politics, international affairs, economics, society, culture, environment, medical science, and science and technology). Furthermore, there is a full lineup of seminars for more in-depth study of journalism and media.Accepting diverse students regardless of their undergraduate backgroundThe Journalism School accepts students regardless of their undergraduate major. Once admitted, students study deep into their future field of specialization through research guidance by Advisors, and also learn to acquire broader perspectives. The Journalism School also devotes strong efforts to continuing education for active journalists, and offers a one-year accelerated course completion system for students admitted via entrance examinations for working adults.
