Political Science CourseJournalism CourseGlobal Public Policy Course　早稲田大学大学院政治学研究科は、日本と地球社会の変動に鋭敏に対応し、21世紀政治の展開を見通しつつ地球社会の平和と幸福に寄与する、地球的視野をもった政治学研究者および高度専門職業人を養成することをめざします。　「政治学コース」では、新たな世界標準の政治学方法論と、日本と世界の政治についての深い理解とを兼ね備えた、研究者の養成をめざします。また同時に、マスター・サイエンスとしての政治学の専門知識を身につけて、公正な地球社会の構築のためにさまざまな分野においてリーダーシップを発揮し、望ましい地球社会の構築にむけて、構想を世界に発信し、志をもってその実現に努力する実践的人材の養成をめざします。　「ジャーナリズムコース」では、プロフェッショナルとして倫理、知識、技術において実践的であるとともに、専門的知識と市民社会の間に相互関係を作り上げる公共的コミュニケーションの担い手として卓越したジャーナリストの養成をめざし、アカデミアとジャーナリズムの出会いの場を実現します。　「グローバル公共政策コース」は、「公平と効率のバランス」「持続可能性」の視点を重視し、学際的な視点から公共政策の分析・評価・形成を行える人材、なかでも科学的根拠にもとづく政策立案（Evidence-Based Policy Making: EBPM）を担える人材、さらに実践的なトレーニングによって鍛えられ、グローバルな視野とローカルな現場感覚をともに身につけた人材の育成を目指します。The goal of the Graduate School of Political Science of Waseda University is to train researchers in the field of political science and highly specialized professionals endowed with a global perspective.A graduate of the Graduate School will be highly sensitive to the changes occurring in Japan and around the world. He or she will be capable of making a contribution to the peace and welfare of the global community, while anticipating political developments in the twenty-first century. The Political Science Course aims to endow researchers with the most current and globally accepted political science methodologies and a deep understanding of Japanese and international politics.At the same time, the program aims to train professionals endowed with a practical viewpoint and specialized knowledge in political science.Graduates of the program can demonstrate leadership in a wide variety of fields. They have the tools needed to achieve a politically sound international community and contribute to building the framework for an ideal global society and strive for its realization.The Journalism Course trains journalists to take a practical approach to ethics, morals, knowledge, and technique, and to take the lead in creating common ground between academia and journalism by giving them the tools to excel at establishing communication between specialized knowledge and civil society.The Global Public Policy Course focuses on a balance between fairness and efficiency and on sustainability and aims to foster talent who can analyze, evaluate, and formulate public policy from an academic perspective, who can, in particular, take on the task of evidence-based policy making (EBPM) that is grounded in science, and who can, further, hone their skills through practical training and gain both a global perspective and a local, on-the-ground sense of issues.7政治学コースジャーナリズムコースグローバル公共政策コースOur Vision and Mission人材育成像
