Our students can take advantage of the exchange programs established by these agreements to study abroad.Pursuing research at a center of cutting-edge research adds significant depth to a graduate student’s research. The exchange programs available to students are one of the most appealing features of GSPS and Waseda University.In 2008, Waseda University concluded exchange program agreements with Kyoto University, Keio University, and the University of Tokyo. Since that year, the universities in the agreement have exchanged graduate students, who mainly take courses in research guidance at the Doctoral level. If deemed beneficial, the exchange program also allows students to take research guidance courses—which are compulsory to complete a Master’s Program or Doctoral Program—at any one of the three partner universities. Students can also take some of the courses offered at partner universities. Students need the approval of their primary advisor as well as the administration of the Graduate School to take part in the program. Since the program began, the Graduate School has sent students to the Keio University Graduate School of Law and the University of Tokyo University Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies and has accepted students from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies.In addition, the Graduate School of Political Science has signed a credit exchange agreement with the Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School of Engineering, School of Materials and Chemical Technology, School of Environment and Society that allows students of each graduate school to take courses offered by the other.graduate schools in Japan留学についてStudy Abroad他大学大学院との交流Exchange programs with other
