Research SupervisionThe steps to completing the Doctoral DegreeComplete Doctoral Dissertation Support 博士学位申請論文の作成に向けて、創造的な研究の実現を協力にサポートし、合わせて発信の技術も鍛えます。研究指導は、メイン・アドバイザーとサブ・アドバイザーによる個別的指導、および所属研究領域やその他の領域の教員による多角的な合同指導によって行われます。博士後期課程入学時に提出された研究計画書に沿って、学生の個性と問題意識を尊重した指導が行われます。 それぞれの学生の問題関心を重視し、個性的で独創的な研究を支援する一方で、博士学位を取得するまでにいくつかのチェックポイントを設けて、研究を推進するためのロードマップを提示しています。 １年次には、研究分野に直接・間接的に関わる必読文献のリストを配布し、その習得度を測る「領域修了試験」を実施します※。２年次の中頃には、博士論文執筆へ向けて論文構想が妥当かどうかを見極める「論文構想試験」を実施し、研究の方向性を確認します。博士論文の審査にあたっては、論文審査委員会を設置し、厳正かつ公正に行われます。研究の適正な進捗を支援し、早期に博士学位取得を可能にする仕組みです。※ 一般入試による入学者は１年次に「分析手法認定試験」に合格する事も求められます。15博士論文までの確かな展望研究指導博士学位取得までのロードマップDoctoral ProgramsResearch guidance is provided to help students complete original research in preparation for the Doctoral Dissertation and to teach various publication methods. Students receive research guidance in the form of individual guidance from their main advisor and secondary advisor and multi-faceted joint guidance from faculty members in the student’s research area and in other areas. The guidance provided is in accordance with the student’s research plan submitted at the time of enrollment to the Doctoral Program, and also takes into consideration individual attributes and awareness of issues.The Doctoral Program provides a roadmap with several checkpoints for students to help guide them toward completing their degree while also supporting original and innovative research based on their individual interests.During the first academic year, students are provided with a list of must-read materials directly or indirectly related to their research areas, and they also take the Qualifying Examination to evaluate their level of mastery of the material.Around the middle of the second academic year, the program holds the Dissertation Conceptual Framework Examination to evaluate whether the student has built an appropriate dissertation framework. The evaluation makes sure that the student is on the right track. The Doctoral dissertation examination is a strict and fair evaluation of the student’s progress. These evaluations confirm that the student is making progress and can complete the Doctoral Program on time.* Students accepted on the basis of the general admissions examination are required to pass the “Analytical Methods Qualification Test” during their first year of studies.博士後期課程
