26◆ 学生は、自身の研究分野において、博士学位請求論文審査基準に定める事項を身につけている。◆ 学生は、社会の期待以上のデータ分析能力を養い、新たな問題を言語化またはモデル化し、解を提案、論理的に説明する力（問題発見・解決力）を身につけている。◆ 学生は、「たくましい知性」と「しなやかな感性」を持ち、多様な人々と協働して世界の様々な問題の解決に当たることができる姿勢（国際性）を身につけている。経済学研究科では、経済・社会の問題を正確に分析し適切な処方箋を書くには、経済理論に裏付けられた厳密な思考が不可欠であるという理念の下に、基礎理論から応用・専門へと展開されたカリキュラムが構成されている。基本的には、ミクロ経済学、マクロ経済学、統計・計量、経済史の学習を通じて、広範囲に亘る経済学の基礎知識と方法論を修得し、独立した研究者、高度専門職業人を育てる。修士課程、博士後期課程ともに、日本語話者と非日本語話者が分け隔てなく、講義や研究指導を受けることができる体制になっており、専門的な知識や技能を常に多様性に開かれた環境で学ぶことが期待される。修士課程の経済学コースでは、標準として２年以上在籍し、ミクロ経済学、マクロ経済学、統計・計量、経済史が必修科目である。研究指導（指導教員が担当する演習科目は必須）によって専門知識を実用化させ、それに基づいて修士論文を作成する。各自のテーマならびに将来設計に応じて共通基礎科目、随意科目、他研究科提供科目・他大学院聴講科目等で関連知識を習得する。さらに「経済学研究領域」および「経済史研究領域」からなる２つの研究領域に分かれ、学生の多様化した研究に対応する。また、修了算入単位として32単位以上を修得することが求められる。主な学修成果としては、学生は、修士課程１年次の間に、充実した必修・コースワークの履修を通じて経済理論と計量分析に関する専門知識を修得すると共に実証分析に習熟し、修士課程２年次修了までに、研究指導を通じて社会の即戦力となるデータ分析の能力を身につけ、修士論文審査基準に定める事項を修得すると共に、様々なバックグラウンドを持つ者との授業参加や討論等を通じて国際性を身につけることが期待される。修士課程の国際政治経済学コースでは、標準として２年以上在籍し、政治学研究方法、およびミクロ経済学、マクロ経済学、統計・計量系科目が必修である。これに共通基礎科目、コア科目、随意科目などを自由に組み合わせることにより、研究を深める。また、政治学研究科・経済学研究科に属する複数教員による研究指導を実施する。政治と経済という分かちがたい分野を国際的な視野で分析・理解しながら、規範的なパースペクティブから実行可能な政策を検討・構想しうる力を育むためのカリキュラムを用意している。また、修了算入単位として32単位以上を修得することが求められる。主な学修成果としては、学生は、修士課程１年次の間に、充実した必修・コースワークの履修In order to analyze economic and social issues accurately, and propose appropriate solutions, the Graduate School of Economics’ curriculum, which is based upon the philosophy that considers rigorous thought supported by economic theory as indispensable, advances from basic theory to application and specialization. Through the study of microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, econometrics, and economic history, students will acquire extensive knowledge of the fundamentals and methodologies of economics. This will enable them to develop into independent researchers and highly skilled professionals. In both the master’s and doctoral programs, lectures and research guidance are available to both Japanese and non-Japanese speakers without discrimination. Students are expected to acquire specialized knowledge and skills in an environment that is always open to diversity.In the Master’s Program in Economics Course, students are required to be enrolled for a period of 2 years or more and take microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics and econometrics, and economic history as compulsory courses. Students will put their expertise to practical use through research guidance (taking research guidance conducted by supervisor is required) and write a master’s thesis based on the acquisition.In accordance with their research topics and future plans, students will also acquire relevant knowledge through common basic courses, optional courses, and courses offered by other graduate schools and other universities. Furthermore, the Economics Course is divided into two specializations, “Specialization in Economics” and “Specialization in Economic History” to accommodate the diverse research needs of students. In this course, students are required to earn at least 32 credits that counted toward their completion requirements. As the main learning outcomes, in the first year of the master’s program, students are expected to acquire specialized knowledge in economic theory and econometrics based on substantial compulsory courses and coursework, and to become proficient in empirical analysis.
