15In accordance with the university’s policy of fostering human resources who possess “intellectual resilience” and “flexible sensitivity,” and can contribute to making the society and the world a better place, the Graduate School of Economics confers degrees on those who obtain a wide range of basic knowledge and methodology in economics (Master’s Program), acquire in-depth expertise and analytical methods in economics and/or econometrics at a level that enables them to write a doctoral dissertation with high academic value that is recognized both domestically and internationally (Doctoral Program), develop the research skills expected of independent researchers or the superior techniques demanded of highly skilled professionals, and are capable of contributing to society using their research skills and techniques while collaborating with diverse people. Especially, in the process of assessment of a master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation, one particularly important criterion is whether the student can conduct research with the strictest ethics and greatest responsibility.The aim of the Master’s Program in Economics Course is to provide specialized knowledge in economic theory and econometrics, proficiency in empirical analysis, the ability to analyze data that can be readily applied in the real world, the opportunity to master the items specified in the master’s thesis examination criteria, and acquire an international perspective.The aim of the Master’s Program in Global Political Economy Course is to provide specialized knowledge in economic theory, econometrics and the field of political science, proficiency in empirical analysis, the ability to analyze data that can be readily applied in the real world, the opportunity to master the items specified in the master’s thesis examination criteria, and acquire an international perspective.The aim of the Doctoral Program in Economics Course is to provide in-depth knowledge and analytical methods in economic theory and/or econometrics at a level that enables students to write a doctoral dissertation with high academic value that is recognized both domestically and internationally, the opportunity to master the items specified in the doctoral dissertation examination criteria, produce research achievements with high academic value in the field of economics, and acquire an international perspective.The aim of the Doctoral Program in Global Political Economy Course is to provide in-depth knowledge and analytical methods in economic theory and/or econometrics and the field of political science, at a level that enables students to write a doctoral dissertation with high academic value that is recognized both domestically and internationally, the opportunity to master the items specified in the doctoral dissertation examination criteria, produce research achievements with high academic value in the field of economics, and acquire an international perspective.1. Master’s Program◆ The student has acquired specialized knowledge in economic theory and econometrics (in case of the Global Political Economy course, also in the field of political science).◆ The student has mastered the items specified in the master’s thesis examination criteria in their own field of study.◆ The student has developed the ability to analyze data in a way that can be readily applied to society, and the skills to verbalize and model new problems, propose solutions and explain them logically (problem finding and solving skills).◆ The student has acquired “intellectual resilience” and “flexible 修士課程経済学コースでは、学生が経済理論と計量分析に関する専門知識を修得すると共に実証分析に習熟し、社会の即戦力となるデータ分析の能力を身につけ、修士論文審査基準に定める事項を修得すると共に、国際性を身につけることを目標とする。修士課程国際政治経済コースでは、学生が経済理論・計量分析や政治分野に関する専門知識を修得すると共に実証分析に習熟し、社会の即戦力となるデータ分析の能力を身につけ、修士論文審査基準に定める事項を修得すると共に、国際性を身につけることを目標とする。博士後期課程経済学コースでは、国内外に通用する高い学術的価値等を備えた、博士学位請求論文を執筆できるレベルで、学生が経済理論や計量分析に関する深い専門知識や分析手法を修得し、博士学位請求論文審査基準に定める事項を修得し、経済学における学術的価値の高い研究成果を残すと共に、国際性を身につけることを目標とする。博士後期課程国際政治経済コースでは、国内外に通用する高い学術的価値等を備えた、博士学位請求論文を執筆できるレベルで、学生が経済理論・計量分析や政治分野に関する深い専門知識や分析手法を修得し、博士学位請求論文審査基準に定める事項を修得し、経済学における学術的価値の高い研究成果を残すと共に、国際性を身につけることを目標とする。〈ディプロマ・ポリシーに基づく学修成果〉１．修士課程◆ 学生は、経済理論と計量分析（国際政治経済学コースの場合は、更に政治分野）に関する専門知識を修得している。◆ 学生は、自身の研究分野において、修士論文審査基準に定める事項を身につけている。◆ 学生は、社会の即戦力となるようなデータ分析能力を養い、新たな問題を言語化またはモデル化し、解を提案、論理的に説明する力（問題発見・解決力）を身につけている。◆ 学生は、「たくましい知性」と「しなやかな感性」を持ち、多様な人々と協働して世界の様々な問題の解決に当たることができる姿勢（国際性）を身につけている。２．博士後期課程◆ 学生は、国内外に通用する高い学術的価値等を備えた、博士学位請求論文を執筆できるレベルで、経済理論や計量分析（国際政治経済学コースの場合は、更に政治分野）に関する深い専門知識や分析手法を修得している。ディプロマ・ポリシー Diploma Policy 「たくましい知性」と「しなやかな感性」を有し、より良き社会・世界の実現に貢献できる人材を作るという本学の方針に則り、経済学研究科が学位を授けるのは、広範囲に亘る経済学の基礎知識と方法論を修得し（修士課程）、また、国内外に通用する高い学術的価値等を備えた、博士学位請求論文を執筆できるレベルの深い経済学と計量分析に関する専門知識や分析手法を習得し（博士後期課程）、独立した研究者としての研究能力、あるいは高度専門職業人として活躍できる優れた技術を身につけ、多様な人々と協働しながら、自らの研究力や技術を社会に還元できる者に対してである。特に、学位論文の審査においては、厳格な倫理性と強い責任感とをもって研究を行うことができることを重要な判定基準とする。経済学研究科 ３つのポリシーThree Policies of the Graduate School of Economics
